Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, presided over the donning and oath-taking ceremony of Ilocos Sur Governor Jeremias Singson under the PCG Auxiliary (PCGA) Executive Squadron held at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila, today, 22 February 2023. Governor Singson took an oath before CG Admiral Abu as he received the rank of AUXILIARY COMMODORE.

Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu, presided over the donning and oath-taking ceremony of Ilocos Sur Governor Jeremias Singson under the PCG Auxiliary (PCGA) Executive Squadron held at the National Headquarters, Port Area, Manila, today, 22 February 2023.
Governor Singson took an oath before CG Admiral Abu as he received the rank of AUXILIARY COMMODORE.
"I am dignified to carry out the responsibilities attached to this involvement. I am with the PCG to serve the people and the country," Auxiliary Commodore Singson said.
Witnessing the ceremony were CG Commodore Tito Alvin Andal, PCG Chief of Coast Guard Staff; CG Commodore Rudyard Somera, Director of Coast Guard Strategic Studies and International Affairs Center; CG Captain Christopher Auro, Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for Civil Relations Service (CG-7), and other PCG officers and non-officers.
