Police Regional Office 1 wholeheartedly supports the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government, Atty. Benjamin "Benhur" Abalos Jr, in his efforts to cleanse the Philippine National Police organization in illegal drug-related activities. We view this as an opportunity to strengthen and empower our organization with discipline, integrity, and professionalism. As a key agency in charge of putting the country's campaign against illegal drugs into action, we are expected to keep the highest standards of professionalism and community service.

As the leader of Police Regional Office 1, I am committed to adhere with the values and principles of our organization. To that end, I am leading PRO 1 in voluntarily submitting ourselves to undergo the necessary assessment and evaluation process that the designated Committee will conduct. I have great faith in our leaders' wisdom, and by taking part in this process, I am certain that it will lead toward the betterment of the PNP organization and our country.
